How can I schedule a consultation with Dr. Willard?
You can schedule a consultation by selecting a time on the scheduler above. We will get back to you within 24 hours to confirm your appointment.
What should I bring to the discovery session?
Simply bring your questions and concerns for your child. This meeting will help you and Dr. Marcy decide if our programs are a fit for your family.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes, most consultations are offered virtually over zoom. Dr. Willard is licensed in several states in addition to Colorado. Contact us to inquire about the state where you live.
What is the cost of an evaluation or consultation?
The cost of most clinical services is $200 per hour, unless it is covered by insurance. Evaluations take 16-20 hours to complete. Legal cases are billed on a separate fee schedule. Complete contact form for more information on fees for specific services.
How do I prepare my child for their first visit?
Explain to your child that they will be meeting with Dr. Marcy to see how their brain thinks and learns. This time together will help parents and teachers know how to help. Most kids have fun with Dr. Marcy, playing games and doing puzzles together. Activities are a mixture of school-like activities and play. Let your child know that it is okay to bring favorite snacks and toys into the office.
Can I be present during my child's session?
Typically the first session is just with the parents and Dr. Marcy over zoom. If your child is under 4 years old, you will need to be present for the testing sessions. Children 4 and up typically test 1:1 with Dr. Marcy. Testing sessions are typically 4-6 hours and these may be in one or several sessions. The last session is just with parents to get feedback on the test results.
What if I have questions after the consultation?

Do you accept insurance?
Depending on the type of service you are seeking, insurance coverage may be available. Dr. Marcy takes the following insurance plans through a partnership with Headway in Colorado: Aetna, Cigna, Quest Behavioral Health, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Carelon Behavioral Health. Dr. Willard offers a range of assessments including neuropsychological testing, educational evaluations, parent-child interaction assessments, and diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
